16.5 miles on the elliptical.
Slightly unrelated—I know I don’t fit the conventional idea of what’s supposed to be attractive in our society, but this morning as I was changing out of my pajamas, I paused in front of the full length mirror I keep on the back of my bathroom door and took a minute to look at myself naked.
And you know what? My legs may be thick, but they’re also strong and powerful. My curves may be too broad and plentiful, but they’re soft and inviting. My arms may be a little flabby, but they’re great for kneading bread dough or whipping up a meringue. My fingers may be short with crappy nails, but they can make music and frosting roses.
My body might not be acceptable to the world, but it’s beautiful to me.
